I've been eyeing the War of the Ring board game for a while, and finally pulled the trigger on the normal edition earlier this week (which must have been recently re-printed, as it's been raking in exorbitant prices on eBay for quite a while). In researching the game, I also inevitably came across this Collector's Edition, which... If it wasn't around $2000 on Ebay, I'd have a table-sized board game to find a shelf for.

One intrepid fan has even made a series of location miniatures, which are drool-worthy in the extreme. He sold a number of kits, but they're no longer in production (thank you, says my pocketbook).

Can't wait to give this game a whirl.
